[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Baek Gun-gi, mayor of Yongin City, has ordered securing finances through participation in various public contest projects of central government departments.
Yongin City announced that Mayor Baek instructed at the city administration strategy meeting on the 10th, "Systematically manage various public contest projects of the central government and public institutions and prepare strategies to increase the application rate."
Mayor Baek emphasized the need for a system in the public service that can accompany proactiveness and responsibility, such as grasping and reporting information related to central government contests and linking related departments.
He especially ordered the establishment of a "Public Contest Project Task Force (TF)" covering the entire city administration.
