Park Byung-eun Donates 50 Million Won to National Cancer Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Park Byung-eun donated 50 million won to the National Cancer Center on the 28th of last month.
On the 10th, through his agency C-JeS, Park Byung-eun said, "I decided to donate to the National Cancer Center, which is leading efforts to cure cancer during these difficult times. I hope that even a little warmth has been conveyed to cancer patients."
The National Cancer Center plans to use the donation to support treatment costs for low-income cancer patients and to fund research for cancer prevention and eradication.
Seo Hong-kwan, chairman of the National Cancer Center Development Fund, stated, "Through this donation, Mr. Park Byung-eun has gone beyond practical support such as helping with cancer patient treatment costs and has spread a positive influence that gives courage and hope to patients suffering from cancer."
