Korea Exchange Launches English Service for 'KRX Information Data System'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] The Korea Exchange announced on the 9th that it will launch an English service for the domestic capital market information portal 'Information Data System' to enhance foreign investors' information accessibility and convenience of use.
This service was implemented in response to concerns that, despite the continuous increase in the scale of foreign investment in the domestic capital market and the growing market influence, the provision of market information in English has been relatively insufficient.
According to the Exchange, the scale of foreign holdings surpassed 386 trillion won in 2010, exceeded 421 trillion won in 2015, and broke through 783 trillion won last year.
