Heo posted a brief message on his Facebook around 7 p.m. that day, saying "Abolish the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, establish the Ministry of Marriage." Later, Heo himself commented on the post, saying "Heo Kyung-young is the original."
Earlier, Yoon posted on his Facebook around 5 p.m. a post consisting of just seven characters saying "Abolish the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family." The post received a great response, garnering nearly 2,000 comments in just over an hour. In response, Heo used the exact same background color as Yoon’s post to publish a message advocating for the abolition of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

At that time, he stated on Facebook, "The existence of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family is a discriminatory idea that perceives women as weak. Therefore, after abolishing the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, I will establish the Ministry of Marriage to solve the much bigger problem of low birth rates."
He added, "South Korea spends the most budget on low birth rates in the world but has the lowest birth rate. In the past, I foresaw this situation and advocated for marriage and childbirth allowances," and said, "At that time, I was often called crazy, but now many people agree, saying 'Heo Kyung-young’s pledge was right,' and 'If only they had given money back then, the disastrous low birth rate crisis that could have led to the collapse of the country would not have occurred.'"
