[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] The Korea Communications Commission announced on the 7th that it has begun the application process for candidates for the president of EBS (Korea Educational Broadcasting System) in accordance with the 'Appointment Plan for Executives of Korean Broadcasting System, Korea Broadcasting Culture Promotion Agency, and EBS' approved at the plenary meeting.
The application period is two weeks, from January 10 to 21. After the application period, disqualification checks and interview procedures as stipulated by the Korea Educational Broadcasting System Act will be conducted, and the chairman will appoint the EBS president through a resolution at the KCC plenary meeting.
