Yeonggwang-gun Provides 300,000 Won Emergency Disaster Relief Fund to Small Business Owners
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do, will provide emergency disaster relief funds to stabilize the management of small business owners who are experiencing difficulties such as decreased sales due to the re-strengthening of COVID-19 quarantine measures following the government's phased return to normal life.
According to the county on the 6th, this emergency disaster relief fund for small business owners targets those who had business establishments in the area as of January 1 of this year (meeting the criteria for the number of regular employees and annual sales), and 300,000 KRW will be provided per business through the 'Yeonggwang Sarang Card.'
The application and reception period is from the 17th of this month to the 25th of next month. Businesses that have already received the Jeonnam small business daily recovery support fund can apply via the 'Geurigo' app or the 'county office website' without an on-site visit.
Other businesses must apply in person by visiting the Economic Energy Division of the county office or the relevant eup/myeon office.
The disaster relief fund usage period is until May 31. If the 'Yeonggwang Sarang Card' is lost or damaged and cannot be used, applicants can visit their local eup/myeon office to reissue the card by paying a fee of 2,000 KRW and then apply.
A county official said, "We hope this emergency disaster relief fund for small business owners will help stabilize management for those facing difficulties and serve as a catalyst to revitalize the commercial district."
