[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, held the '2022 New Public Officials Appointment Ceremony' on the 5th at the City Hall Citizen Hall for 63 rookie public officials taking their first step into public service.
The newly appointed public officials on this day are those who passed the 2021 Gyeongsangnam-do local public official recruitment exam, consisting of a total of 63 people across 14 job categories, including 6 level 8 nursing positions, 8 level 9 health positions, and 18 level 9 social welfare positions.
In particular, these new public officials will be prioritized for assignment to departments responding to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to eup, myeon, and dong offices closely connected to residents' daily lives, where they will carry out infectious disease prevention activities and resident welfare service duties.
Park So-min, the representative rookie public official who took the oath on behalf of the new officials, expressed her aspiration, saying, "As a new public official, I will not lose my initial resolve, always put citizens first, and become a public servant who communicates and collaborates well."
