Ministry of Unification: "Not Concluding North Korea's Launch Intentions Are Unidirectional"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Ministry of Unification stated regarding North Korea's hypersonic missile launch into the East Sea the previous day that "we are not concluding North Korea's launch intent in any single direction."
On the 6th, a Ministry of Unification official told reporters in response to related questions, "We will make a comprehensive judgment based on North Korea's reported stance, various actions, evaluations from related departments, and the international community."
The official explained, "The government is paying close attention to the direction North Korea has set for inter-Korean relations and foreign policy, and we are making judgments considering the missile launch situation from the previous day."
