Starting with the business agreement, both companies agreed to jointly work to revitalize digital healthcare and care food businesses through mutual exchange of data, personnel, and technology related to their respective areas of expertise. They will jointly promote research and development of new platform services that combine food service, healthcare, and financial services, as well as online and offline linked marketing.
Ourhome expects to strengthen the foundation of its digital healthcare business through collaboration with KB Insurance. By researching food service and healthcare data held by both companies, they will verify the health improvement effects according to individual meals and nutrition. Subsequently, they plan to establish a 'Care Solution' through diet and food in each of the three major healthcare areas: diagnosis, treatment, and management, and based on this, introduce a personalized dietary suggestion program that considers health status, preferred menus, eating habits, and lifestyle.
Gu Ji-eun, Vice Chairman of Ourhome, said, "Through this agreement, we hope that the combination of food service, insurance, and healthcare will create new future value and provide differentiated benefits to customers. We will strive to proactively build and lead the digital healthcare platform market by utilizing data and AI technology, as well as conducting research and development of personalized health foods and soft foods for care."
