Like Wall Street in the US... Korea Exchange's 'So and Gom Statues' Moved Outdoors After 25 Years
Creating a Friendly Image by Opening Up to Investors
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The 'Cow and Bear Statue,' installed in 1996 in the lobby of the Korea Exchange Seoul headquarters, has been relocated outdoors.
The Korea Exchange announced on the 5th that the sculpture was moved outdoors after 25 years. This move aims to get closer to investors in response to the growing public interest in the stock market and to build a friendly and open image of the Korea Exchange.
Earlier, in October, the Korea Exchange relocated the Bull Statue, which was behind the Busan headquarters' International Finance Center (BIFC) building, to the front and set up a photo zone.
Recently, the exchange has been serializing a webtoon based on true stories introducing the exchange, titled 'The Timid X of the Grand Exchange,' on its official Instagram account, and also introduced the exchange's symbolic characters Hwangbi and Ungbi.
