Presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol, who announced a reorganization of the election campaign committee on the 5th, is expected to attend in person. Meanwhile, the 'Party Leader and Lawmakers with Three or More Terms Joint Meeting' scheduled for the afternoon of the same day has been postponed.
The People Power Party announced on the same day that the party caucus will be held at 10 a.m. on the 6th at the National Assembly main building.
The party explained, "Candidate Yoon will attend the party caucus tomorrow."
The joint meeting between Party Leader Lee Jun-seok and senior lawmakers, which was planned for 3 p.m. that day, has been canceled. Jeong Jin-seok, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly who led the senior lawmakers' group, told reporters in front of the Deputy Speaker's office that day, "We plan to postpone the meeting between Leader Lee and the senior lawmakers for a while," adding, "If Leader Lee convenes the senior lawmakers' meeting in the near future, we will meet."
Regarding this, Deputy Speaker Jeong explained, "There was a press conference by candidate Yoon today, and it seems inappropriate from a publicity strategy perspective for the senior lawmakers to meet and create another chapter." Although a clash between senior lawmakers and Leader Lee was expected at the joint meeting, the cancellation of the schedule appears to have averted the worst-case scenario.

Deputy Speaker Jeong also softened his tone toward Leader Lee. He said, "Shouldn't we overcome this difficult crisis by working together?" and added, "Leader Lee is not someone who intends to step back like that. He also has the mindset to do his best in the role entrusted to him as party leader."
