Namwon-si Provides Career-Type Jobs to 66 Middle-Aged Adults
[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jeong Young-gwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk, secured 750 million won in national funding through the Ministry of Employment and Labor's public contest for the 2022 Senior Career-type Job Project, and with a total project budget of 1.5 billion won, will provide career-type jobs to 66 seniors.
According to the city on the 5th, the Senior Career-type Job Project selects candidates who will work for 10 months from March to December.
The recruitment numbers are 36 for resolving local service blind spots, 11 for agricultural service managers, 9 for the small library book coordinator project, and 10 for the household safety doctor project, totaling 66 people.
Applications can be submitted at the Namwon Employment Welfare Plus Center from the 10th to the 18th.
Eligibility requires applicants to be unemployed individuals aged 50 to under 70 in the current year, possessing at least 3 years of experience and certifications as specified by the project. There is no residency restriction at the time of application, which is expected to have a positive effect on population inflow.
A city official stated, “Through the implementation of the Senior Career-type Job Project, we aim to provide seniors with opportunities for a second act in life and allow experienced seniors to give back their skills and abilities to the local community. We will continue to expand this project.”
