Gochang-gun Accepting Applications for 'Young Farmers and Successor Farm Managers' Until the 29th

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun announced on the 5th that it is accepting applications for support projects for young successor farmers and successor agricultural managers until the 28th.

The support target for young successor farmers is young farmers aged 18 to under 40 with less than 3 years of farming experience, and upon selection, a farming settlement support fund of 800,000 to 1,000,000 KRW per month will be paid differentially according to farming experience for up to 3 years.

Applications can be submitted by filling out and submitting the young successor farmer application form on the Agricultural Project Information System.

Successor agricultural managers are selected through evaluation and review targeting farmers aged 18 to under 50 with less than 10 years of farming experience as of the implementation year.

Upon selection, up to 300 million KRW with loan conditions of 5 years grace period, 10 years installment repayment, and 2% annual interest rate will be provided as successor farmer development funds for land purchase, facility installation, etc.

Farmers who meet the qualifications and requirements for the successor agricultural manager support project should submit the project application form to the Gochang-gun Agricultural Technology Center by the application deadline.

A representative of the Gochang-gun Agricultural Technology Center said, “We will do our best to discover prospective farmers and young farmers who will lead local agriculture, respond to the changing agricultural field, and help successful farming settlement.”
