Kibo, Recruiting Companies for the 10th 'Kibo Venture Camp' Participation
Focused Nurturing of Startups Leading the 4th Industrial Revolution
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 5th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 10th 'Kibo Venture Camp' to nurture capable innovative startup companies. The Kibo Venture Camp is a program that focuses on nurturing innovative startups into star venture companies through collaboration with private accelerators based on Kibo's accumulated experience in supporting technology startups.
The recruitment target is innovative startups or prospective entrepreneurs within 3 years of establishment as of the announcement date. Approximately 50 companies will be selected through the first document screening and the second presentation evaluation.
Selected companies for the Kibo Venture Camp will receive various programs including ▲ consulting for establishing customized growth strategies ▲ mentoring linked with experts in various fields such as successful entrepreneurs ▲ investment attraction opportunities, and networking with venture capitalists, all of which are provided free of charge.
In particular, graduated companies will be systematically supported until successful startup establishment by providing a package of financial services such as guarantees and investments, as well as non-financial services including research and development (R&D) support and technology transfer.

Kim Young-gap, a director at Kibo, said, "Among the companies participating in the 10th Kibo Venture Camp, the top 25% can receive guarantees of up to 1.5 billion KRW depending on their growth stage. Kibo will continue to do its best through active support policies to help excellent participating companies in the Kibo Venture Camp grow into unicorn companies."
