Police Track Suspect Who Stole 1.1 Billion Won in Cash from Gangnam Office
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The police are pursuing suspects who stole about 1.1 billion won from an office in Gangnam, Seoul.
According to the police on the 4th, the Gangnam Police Station is tracking suspects who stole about 1.1 billion won in cash from a safe inside an office located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, at around 8:30 p.m. on the 1st of this month.
It is known that they entered by using a card key and unlocked the safe's password. The next day, the victims noticed the cash was missing, checked the office's closed-circuit television (CCTV), and reported it to the police on the 3rd. The victims are reported to have been investing in cryptocurrency and stocks from this office.
