Sejong-si, Recruiting Participants for Infection Prevention Job Program for Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City announced on the 4th that it will recruit participants for the '2022 Local Quarantine Job Project' from April 4 to 7.
The project will be carried out by providing daily quarantine services at multi-use public facilities within the region from the end of this month until the end of May.
The number of recruits is 36, and the selected individuals will be assigned to health centers, screening clinics, public offices, and other locations to handle COVID-19 response tasks during the project period.
Priority will be given to vulnerable employment groups such as low-income residents and persons with disabilities in the region, as well as unemployed individuals and self-employed business owners who have experienced economic difficulties due to COVID-19.
The selected participants will assist with COVID-19 testing guidance and maintaining social distancing order, help ensure smooth operation of screening clinics, and perform tasks such as checking visitors' temperatures, basic quarantine, and disinfection within public facilities like city halls.
Applications can be made by visiting the local community service center in charge of the applicant's address with an ID card and relevant documents.

Hwang Byung-soon, Director of the City Job Policy Division, said, “The quarantine job project is implemented to strengthen the local quarantine system and provide some economic assistance to residents facing livelihood difficulties.”
