Harim Announces New Campaign Slogan 'Aesseugo, Aesseuji'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Harim, a comprehensive food company, announced on the 3rd that at the 2022 Year of the Black Tiger opening ceremony held at Harim headquarters in Iksan, Jeonbuk, CEO Park Gil-yeon and key executives and employees pledged to practice ESG management in their daily lives and also participated in blood donation activities.
On this day, the 2022 ESG campaign slogan "Aesseugo Aesseuji" was also announced. "Aesseugo (ESG), Aesseuji (ESG)" is a wordplay created to alleviate the sense of distance that still feels difficult despite ESG?standing for Environment, Social, and Governance?being recognized as an essential element of corporate management. It embodies the ambition to make ESG management a routine at Harim as a leading food company in Korea.
Harim is preparing to introduce eco-friendly packaging for ESG management and plans to expand the volunteer opportunities of the consumer family volunteer group "Pio Volunteer Group," which is celebrating its 9th anniversary this year, to university students. Along with this, Harim intends to continuously carry out programs that contribute to community development and pursue a win-win economy.
In addition, employees of Harim’s Iksan and Jeongeup factories participated in blood donation before starting their first workday of the new year. The blood donation certificates from Harim employees will be donated to children with leukemia and others in urgent need of transfusions. Harim has signed a mutual agreement with the Jeonbuk Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross and conducts the Love Blood Donation Campaign four times a year.
