Ostem Implant Employee Embezzles 188 Billion KRW... Police Launch Investigation
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] An employee of Osstem Implant embezzled nearly 200 billion won, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
The Gangseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 3rd that they have booked Osstem Implant employee Lee on charges of embezzlement and are currently investigating.
According to the police, Lee, who was in charge of fund management at Osstem Implant, is suspected of embezzling approximately 188 billion won alone.
Osstem Implant filed a complaint against Lee on December 31 of last year and is reportedly taking necessary measures to recover the funds.
A police official stated, "We are currently conducting an investigation based on the contents of the complaint."

Meanwhile, the KOSDAQ Market Headquarters announced that from 8:35 a.m. on the same day until the decision on whether Osstem Implant is subject to a substantial review of listing eligibility, trading of Osstem Implant’s shares will be suspended.
