View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] LG Electronics will hold the 'LG World Premiere' event to introduce innovative lifestyles and future visions. The theme is ‘The Better Life You Deserve.’ This online event will be held on the 4th at 8 a.m. local time in the U.S. (1 a.m. on the 5th Korean time), one day before the opening of CES 2022, and will be available as a video on the official CES website, LG Electronics’ homepage, and YouTube channel.
Aligned with the theme, LG Electronics will introduce ▲A Better Life for You ▲A Better Life for All ▲A Better Life Tomorrow. The company plans to showcase how customers enjoy a better daily life by utilizing products and solutions tailored to their individual lifestyles.
In the video, LG Electronics CEO Jo Joo-wan emphasizes, "We will present innovations in customer experience for a better life, ensuring not only convenience and fun but also the safety of precious daily moments."
In the first segment, ‘A Better Life for You,’ LG Electronics focuses on the changed lifestyles of customers spending more time at home and introduces new-concept home appliances.
The first product featured is the recently unveiled new-concept air purifier fan, the ‘LG PuriCare AeroTower.’ Unlike conventional air purifiers, this product delivers purified air at the desired temperature, volume, and direction, allowing customers to enjoy pleasant airflow throughout all four seasons.
It also showcases real-life usage scenes of the plant lifestyle appliance ‘LG tiiun (LG tiiun) Objet Collection,’ which allows easy cultivation and enjoyment of various plants indoors, and the wireless portable screen ‘LG StanbyME,’ which can be conveniently moved to any desired location for viewing.
LG Electronics will also introduce the upgraded intelligent lifestyle platform, the LG ThinQ app. Especially through the enhanced smart kitchen feature ‘ThinQ Recipe,’ the service offers customers convenient and differentiated experiences.
The LG ThinQ app goes beyond simple appliance control, enabling customers to enjoy daily life more conveniently. Based on artificial intelligence, it analyzes the operating status of products and notifies users in advance of potential malfunctions.
In the second segment, ‘A Better Life for All,’ LG Electronics introduces its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals for sustainable management and a better life for everyone through environmentally conscious products and solutions.
Through the video, LG Electronics presents the ‘LG Sound Bar Eclair,’ which uses recycled materials in its production and packaging. The fabric covering the product’s exterior contains recycled plastic, and the packaging uses pulp molds made from recycled paper and cardboard.
LG Electronics will also unveil the full lineup of 2022 OLED TVs. By continuously expanding the OLED TV lineup, which has fewer components than LCD TVs due to the absence of backlights, the company plans to reduce plastic usage.
To achieve carbon neutrality and a circular economy, LG Electronics is reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product lifecycle, from development to disposal. The cumulative target for collecting discarded electronic products from 2006 to 2030 has been increased from 4.5 million tons to 8 million tons, and since last year, the company has set a goal to use a total of 600,000 tons of recycled plastic by 2030.
At this event, LG Electronics will announce the ‘Life’s Good Award’ initiative to encourage innovation activities for a better life for all. Anyone can participate by proposing ideas that minimize environmental impact or make products and services more accessible for socially vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities. LG Electronics plans to select the winner with the best idea at CES 2023 next year and award a prize of up to $1 million.
LG Omnipod can be used not only as an office space for work but also as a personal space to enjoy various entertainments such as watching movies, exercising, and camping.

The LG OMNIPOD is a concept model of a future autonomous vehicle based on artificial intelligence. It can be used not only as an office space for work but also as a personal space for enjoying various entertainments such as watching movies, exercising, and camping.
LG Electronics plans to demonstrate the possibility that cars can evolve from mere means of transportation into living spaces by expanding the application of the intelligent lifestyle platform LG ThinQ beyond smart homes to mobility. Through the LG OMNIPOD, customers are expected to enjoy the comfort of home wherever they are.
Additionally, LG Electronics will introduce daily life where robots integrated with 5G and artificial intelligence, such as the LG CLOi GuideBot, LG CLOi ServeBot, and indoor/outdoor integrated delivery robots, coexist with people to make life safer and more convenient.
Following last year, LG Electronics’ virtual human ‘Keem Reah (hereafter Reah)’ will make a surprise appearance once again. A teaser for Reah’s music video has been revealed, signaling her imminent debut as a singer.
