[Weather] Freezing Cold on the Commute... Snow in the Seoul Metropolitan Area and Gangwon Region from Night
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] On Monday the 3rd, the sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide, with some areas in the Seoul metropolitan area and inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon Province expecting snowfall from night until early morning on the 4th.
The morning low temperatures will range between -14°C and 0°C nationwide, with Seoul at -8°C, Chuncheon at -12°C, Gwangju at -4°C, and Daegu at -5°C. The daytime high temperatures are forecasted to be between 0°C and 9°C. Expected snowfall amounts are less than 0.1 cm in the Seoul metropolitan area and inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon Province.
In some inland areas of central regions and North Gyeongsang Province where cold wave warnings have been issued, morning temperatures will drop below -10°C, making it very cold. Strong winds are also expected in parts of Yeongdong in Gangwon Province, Gyeongsang Province, southern Chungcheongbuk-do, and eastern Jeollanam-do, where dry weather warnings are in effect.
Fine dust levels will be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions due to favorable atmospheric dispersion.

Strong winds and waves up to 4.0 meters high are expected in the central offshore East Sea and the northern outer offshore East Sea, so navigation and fishing vessels should exercise caution. Wave heights will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the nearshore East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the nearshore West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the nearshore South Sea.
