View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, announced on the 2nd that he will promote a 'Digital Platform Government,' a citizen-tailored service government based on digital technology and big data.
On the same day, Yoon held a press conference at the People Power Party headquarters and announced policies related to this, stating, "We will provide services by accurately identifying what the people want based on scientific data."
He explained the reason for introducing the Digital Platform Government, saying, "It is to provide services proactively by the government even to citizens who have not been able to claim their rights because they did not know how."
The specific contents include ▲building a Digital Platform Government ▲one-site total service ▲My AI Portal ▲establishment of a Digital Problem-Solving Center.
Using the COVID-19 situation as an example, once the Digital Platform Government is established on the site, various ministries will create an online integrated control room together to exchange information in real time, and AI systems will collect and analyze accumulated data and expert opinions. Through this, much more scientific and prompt quarantine measures can be created than now.
In addition, a 'one-site total service' that can handle all information and civil complaints will be provided, and a 'My AI Portal' will be introduced, which assigns a unique account to each citizen and allows them to receive welfare benefits, preventive medical services, lifelong learning, and vocational training services by inputting various administrative data. It is a system where the government takes care of everything like a butler. Along with this, a problem-solving center will be established, and 10,000 'digital guides' will be hired to help those unfamiliar with digital technology use the services.

Yoon said, "The Moon Jae-in government was a government for themselves, ignoring the people," adding, "To cover up the initial failure of quarantine and vaccine introduction during COVID-19, they hid a lot of information and enforced unscientific quarantine measures, forcing the sacrifice of millions of self-employed people. Once the Digital Platform Government is established, infectious disease response will become much more scientific and sophisticated."
