Attack on German Health Minister's Office... "Suspected Act by Vaccine Opponents"
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The regional office of the German Health Minister was attacked, suspected to be the work of anti-vaccine activists.
According to DPA news agency on the 1st (local time), the office located in Cologne, the constituency of Health Minister Karl Lauterbach, was attacked by someone, resulting in broken windows.
The perpetrator has not been caught, and the exact time of the crime has not yet been revealed.
Minister Lauterbach suspects that the crime was committed by anti-vaccine activists and some citizens opposing quarantine measures.
He stated, "Many members of society are coming together and employing all means to fight the pandemic, but these people are not participating in this effort."
Minister Lauterbach, who has consistently warned about the dangers of the COVID-19 pandemic and led quarantine efforts in Germany, has previously been targeted by those dissatisfied with lockdowns, receiving threatening emails and vandalism.
