At the existing Junam Reservoir, ecological trails have been established in two sections: Section 1 (Ramsar Culture Center∼Watergate∼Yongsan Village), which allows visitors to walk along the embankment around the reservoir, and Section 2 (Watergate∼Junam Stone Bridge∼Mujeom Village), connected to the modern cultural heritage site Junam Stone Bridge. These trails attract many visitors.
The newly created ecological trail, Section 3, is a course that connects Gawol Village to the Dan-gam Theme Park, differentiating it from the existing trails. It is a unique trail that follows a mountain path.
Along the mountain path, a wide observatory unfolds, offering a panoramic view of Dongpan Reservoir and Junam Reservoir at a glance.
Section 3 is the only trail among the Junam Reservoir trails that is built on a mountain, allowing visitors to appreciate hidden views of Junam Reservoir from various angles. Unlike the flat trails where it is difficult to find shade, visitors can enjoy walking under the shade of trees, making it expected to become a new attraction.

The city plans to plant ornamental plants such as hydrangeas, masak vines, and liriope around the observatory and trail of Section 3 next year. Additionally, they will enhance landscaping facilities by installing ecological tunnels, photo zones, and benches to increase visual enjoyment and visitor convenience.
