The Energy Saving Campaign in Daily Life aims to respond to the government's carbon neutrality policy, such as preventing global warming, through the everyday practice of energy saving by actions including ▲using electronic timer outlets, ▲cutting standby power of water coolers and heaters, and ▲prioritizing the purchase of energy efficiency grade 1 products. The campaign started with the governor of Chungnam Province in September and has been carried on in relay by various organizations.
Chairman Kim Jong-du urged participation in energy saving in daily life, saying, "If I take the lead and practice energy saving starting from small things in daily life, it will be a great help in protecting the earth for future generations by reducing greenhouse gas emissions caused by decreased fossil fuel use and preventing global warming."
