[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] The Department of Nursing at Honam University (Department Head Jo Eun-ah) announced on the 29th that it donated 140 blood donation certificates prepared through the '36.5℃ Love Sharing Blood Donation Campaign' to Chonnam National University Hospital (Director Ahn Young-geun) on the 28th.
At the donation ceremony, Jo Eun-ah, head of the Department of Nursing at Honam University, Professor Oh Hyo-sook, third-year representatives students Lim Na-hwi and Lee Sang-myung attended, and from Chonnam National University Hospital, Chief Nurse Joo Deok and Nursing Education Team Leader Lee Jung-ah were present.
Department Head Jo Eun-ah said, "Students, feeling saddened by the reality of blood supply difficulties due to the impact of COVID-19, actively participated in the blood donation campaign despite not attending school due to non-face-to-face classes. Especially, third-year students participated in blood donation while nursing patients during clinical practice, reflecting more deeply on the meaning of sharing love."
In response, Chief Nurse Joo Deok said, "We sincerely thank you for participating in blood donation and donating blood donation certificates despite the difficult situation. We will use them well for patients in need of transfusions and pay more attention to students' practical training education."
