Jung Woo-sung Participates in Narration for Shinheung Military Academy Documentary

Artist Company announced on the 29th that actor Jung Woo-sung participated as a narrator in a documentary commemorating the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Shinhung Military Academy. The documentary, titled "Stars of Seogando, 3500," will be broadcast on YTN Radio on the 30th. It highlights the Shinhung Military Academy, which trained anti-Japanese independence fighters during the Japanese colonial period, and the approximately 3,500 independence fighters who led the armed struggle.

Jung Woo-sung expressed, "As someone who usually supports the research and activities of the Institute for Korean Historical Studies, participating was a natural decision," but also shared, "It was overwhelming and challenging to fully convey the main narrative of the history of the anti-Japanese armed struggle through my voice." He continued, "Every time I felt the anguish and pain of the era, and the spirit of our ancestors who endured it with their whole being, my heart was deeply moved, making it difficult to control my breathing," reflecting on his experience.
