The petitioner explained the situation at the time, saying, "During the incident, while police officers were present, the perpetrator stabbed my sister's neck with a weapon, and the police who witnessed this left the scene. Because the responding officers did not join the scene, the other two family members were stabbed by the weapon while trying to subdue the perpetrator, and my sister was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest as her neck bleeding could not be stopped."
They appealed, "At an age not yet 50, my sister's remaining life as a human being was tragically destroyed due to the police's irresponsible response."
The petitioner continued, "Three family members suffered serious injuries, and the trauma from witnessing all family members being stabbed has caused extreme suffering and ruined our lives. I cannot understand whether the refusal to provide the CCTV footage to the family is for the victims' sake or the police's. What are they afraid of by not releasing it?"
