The Safety and Health Symbiotic Cooperation Program is a project led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and implemented by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
The purpose is for parent companies to support the safety and health activities of partner companies to improve their safety and health levels and prevent industrial accidents in the workplace.
Busan Port Authority is promoting safety and health activities including establishing the program implementation plan, operating the symbiotic cooperation group, conducting risk assessments and improvement measures, and supporting partner companies in obtaining safe driving certification.
BPA safety and health managers have been conducting 'on-site risk assessment consulting' to help partner companies systematically carry out risk assessments.
The authority has supported safety equipment and facility improvements such as fire watchers' smoke protection equipment and gas detectors, considering the characteristics of each company's work.
