Andaz Seoul Gangnam Launches Winter Seasonal Fruit Dessert 'Jogakbo Strawberry Bingsu'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Andaz Seoul Gangnam Jogakbo Restaurant announced on the 23rd that it will offer the 'Jogakbo Strawberry Bingsu' set featuring seasonal winter strawberries until March next year.
The set consists of strawberry bingsu, vanilla panna cotta, mochi rice cake, and white chocolate rose lychee sauce, designed for two people to enjoy.
The strawberry bingsu is topped with sweet, high-sugar-content Gomanna-ro strawberries, a specialty product of Gongju, on finely shaved milk ice. Mascarpone cream is added between the fresh strawberries to enhance sweetness and smoothness. Strawberry sorbet is placed on top, finished with a dusting of icing sugar. The hotel explained, "It has a flavor reminiscent of strawberry cheesecake, with a crispy crumble between the milk ice and strawberries adding texture."
The mascarpone cream and white chocolate rose lychee sauce served as sides are perfect for pairing with the bingsu according to personal preference. Mochi rice cake and vanilla panna cotta are also included in the set.
