Expansion of Care Services to Ensure Dual-Income Families Can Safely Send Children to School During Vacations

The city will support overtime pay for care supervisors and student meal expenses during the vacation so that dual-income families can safely leave their lower-grade students at school even during the vacation period.
This winter vacation elementary school care classroom support project will provide a total of 242 million KRW to 31 elementary schools in the area, including Shindae Elementary School, Yulsan Elementary School, and Wangji Elementary School.
Additionally, the summer vacation elementary school care classroom support project last year provided a total of 190 million KRW to 32 schools.
This is about 190 million KRW more than the 240 million KRW supported during last year’s summer and winter vacations.

Out of 42 elementary schools in the area, 4 schools applied through a public contest, and 71 million KRW was provided for electric ondol heating installation, floor and wall replacement, safety mat installation, and water pipe insulation work.
