Lawyers Who Assaulted Restaurant Owner Protesting Public Urination Sent to Prosecutors
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Lawyers who assaulted a restaurant owner couple after urinating on the street while intoxicated have been referred to the prosecution.
According to the police on the 21st, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul sent current lawyers Ahn (42) and Jung (36) to the prosecution without detention on the 17th of this month on charges including assault.
Ahn is accused of assaulting a restaurant owner in his 90s by grabbing and shaking the owner's collar after being protested for urinating on the street in front of a restaurant in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu last September. He is also accused of verbally abusing the police who arrived and the victims.
