Geoje-si, Gyeongnam, Breaks Ground on Public Parking Lot Construction for Commercial Vehicles
Geoje City, Gyeongnam, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Sagok commercial vehicle public parking lot on the 21st.

Geoje City initiated this project to resolve the shortage of parking spaces for commercial vehicles in the area and to prevent illegal parking of large vehicles, thereby reducing the risk of traffic accidents and inconveniences to citizens.
With a total project cost of 7.7 billion KRW, the project aims for completion by July next year, constructing parking spaces for 95 trucks and office and convenience facilities on a 12,448㎡ site.
The groundbreaking ceremony, which proceeded in the order of progress report, shiksa (ceremonial address), congratulatory speech, and blasting ceremony, gathered 49 people who prayed for the safe and smooth progress of the Sagok commercial vehicle construction project.
