Centered on Chinese Restaurants, 'Winter Special Menu Promotion' Launched
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Haevichi Hotel & Resort announced on the 21st that its Chinese restaurant 'Jungsim,' operated in Jongno-gu, Seoul, is running a 'Winter Special Menu Promotion' featuring delicacies that help restore appetite and provide nourishment during the winter season until the end of January next year.
This winter special promotion includes three dishes made with seasonal ingredients such as oysters from Tongyeong, guwhangbuchu (Allium tuberosum) which was once presented to Chinese emperors, and live spiny lobster, considered a premium ingredient.
The first dish is 'Oyster Jjamppong,' a representative menu of Jungsim that can be enjoyed in winter. It is packed with oysters, known as the 'milk of the sea' for their rich calcium, iron, and other nutrients. The soup is made spicy and refreshing by simmering seafood and vegetables.
Also prepared is 'Guwhangbuchu Beef Stir-fry,' made with yellow-colored guwhangbuchu. Rich in vitamins and minerals, guwhangbuchu becomes softer in texture and more fragrant during winter. The 'Guwhangbuchu Beef Stir-fry' offers a unique taste and texture by combining the crispness of guwhangbuchu with the tenderness of beef.
