Lexus "Donates Over 2,000 Books to Reading Promotion Organizations"
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Lexus Korea announced on the 21st that it has delivered 2,068 books collected through a book donation campaign to the nonprofit organization ‘Thanksgive’.
The ‘Book Donation Campaign’ is a social contribution program that delivers books donated by visitors to Lexus’s automotive cultural complex, Connect To, to places in need. Since its inception in 2014, a total of 6,553 books have been donated. This year, employees of Toyota Motor Korea and its partner companies also participated in the campaign.
The collected books will be distributed through the nonprofit reading promotion organization ‘Thanksgive’ to small study rooms, rural area libraries, and small libraries used by multicultural families and low-income children and adolescents.

Byungjin Lee, Executive Director of Lexus Korea, said, “We hope this donation will help provide reading opportunities to more children and adolescents, even if just a little.” He added, “We will continue various social contribution activities that can help the local community.”
