Two-Month-Old Baby Left Unattended and Dies... Police Suspect Dehydration and Malnutrition
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jucheol In] It was recently revealed that a two-month-old baby died after being neglected, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
According to the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency on the 20th, at around 6:46 PM on October 23, the father found the two-month-old baby in a residence in the Geoje area not breathing and reported it to the 119 emergency medical service.
At the time of the report, the baby was already deceased, showing no signs of consciousness, breathing, or pulse.
The police believe that while the teenage mother was at her parental home, the father in his twenties neglected the baby, leading to death from dehydration or malnutrition.
