Selected as an Excellent Institution in the NTIS Data Quality Evaluation by KOCCA
Recognized for Accurate Business Information Management and Information Linkage Achievements through System
The Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 20th that it was selected as an excellent institution in this year's National Science and Technology Information Service (NTIS) data quality evaluation. The NTIS data quality evaluation measures the quality of project information data to strengthen the information quality and enhance the reliability of national research and development (R&D). It is hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI). The evaluation targets seventeen organizations that plan and manage national R&D projects. Based on the results of four quantitative evaluations and one qualitative evaluation, the top excellent institutions are selected.

This is the third time the Korea Creative Content Agency has been selected as an excellent institution. It was recognized for accurate project information management and diligent information linkage performance through its system. In particular, last month, it opened the Culture, Sports and Tourism Technology Promotion Center, integrating the R&D functions of the Korea Copyright Commission, the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, and the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute. An official explained, "It will oversee the planning, management, evaluation, technology transfer, and commercialization tasks of culture, sports, and tourism R&D." They added, "With this selection, the agency will be exempt from this evaluation for the next two years."
