[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Curble chair manufacturer Ableu donated 1,000 curble chairs to the welfare facility for the disabled 'Useongwon' on the 17th and held a delivery ceremony.
Useongwon is a welfare facility for the disabled established in 1967. It goes beyond simple support for the disabled and guarantees their right to self-determination, supporting them to live as proud members of society through independence. Currently, 65 disabled individuals are using the facility, and through individualized services and independence support programs, it continuously supports their self-reliance.
A representative of Useongwon who attended the delivery ceremony said, "Due to COVID-19, outings have decreased and sitting time has increased, but through the curble chair, we can add joy to the time spent sitting," adding, "The cold winter has been warmed by this loving sharing."
Meanwhile, in addition to the donation on the 17th, Ableu has continuously made donations to places in need of warm-hearted support, such as the 119 Miracle Project of the Incheon Fire Headquarters and the Ingcoop Social Cooperative, and is actively engaged in social contribution activities, including operating the curble chair volunteer group 'Bareun Friends.'
