TossPay Expands Easy Payment Area Through Partnership with Google
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Toss Payments, a Paytech affiliate of Toss, announced on the 20th that Toss Pay payments are now available on YouTube and Google Play through a partnership with Google.
Toss Pay is evaluated to have created an opportunity to accelerate growth by partnering with global IT company Google, following Tada and Spotify earlier this year.
Toss Pay is a simple payment service that allows anyone to make easy and secure payments with just the Toss app. It can be conveniently used at Toss Pay merchants through accounts or cards registered as payment methods in the Toss app.
The method to pay with Toss Pay on Google Play and YouTube is simple. For Google Play, click ‘Add Toss’ on the payment methods screen, then complete identity verification through the Toss app to finish registration and use it for paid content payments.
On YouTube, selecting Toss Pay as the payment method allows use for various paid services such as YouTube Premium subscriptions, YouTube movies, channel memberships, and Super Chat. Payments via Toss Pay are available on both web and app for Google Play and YouTube.
