Lotte Duty Free, First in Korean Duty-Free Industry to Host UK Beauty Brand 'Charlotte Tilbury'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Duty Free announced on the 20th that it opened the first UK beauty brand 'Charlotte Tilbury' store in the domestic duty-free industry at its Myeongdong main store on the 17th.
'Charlotte Tilbury' is a UK beauty brand established in 2013 by the world-renowned makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury under her own name. The color line, infused with Charlotte Tilbury's experience of doing makeup for global stars such as Kate Moss and Gisele B?ndchen, has been loved and grown into a representative beauty brand of the UK.
Lotte Duty Free first introduced Charlotte Tilbury to the Korean market by launching it on Lotte Internet Duty Free in June. With the opening of the store on the 12th floor of the Myeongdong main store this time, customers can now experience various Charlotte Tilbury products through both online and offline channels. Popular products include 'Charlotte's Magic Cream,' 'Pillow Talk Collection,' 'Airbrush Flawless Foundation,' and 'Walk of No Shame Collection.'
To commemorate the opening of the Charlotte Tilbury store, Lotte Duty Free is offering a Charlotte Tilbury pouch and a deluxe 3-piece kit on a first-come, first-served basis to customers who purchase Charlotte Tilbury products worth over $150 at the Myeongdong main store.
Lotte Duty Free is strengthening its overseas cosmetics line by expanding the entry of global beauty brands this year. In April, it became the first in the Asian duty-free industry to introduce the Swiss luxury beauty brand 'Valmont,' and in June, it was the first worldwide duty-free company to launch 'Tatcha,' headquartered in the US and Japan.
