According to a News1 report on the 18th, a Korean employee, Mr. A, working at Hanse Industrial's Vietnam production subsidiary, was found collapsed due to a cerebral hemorrhage in the production subsidiary dormitory last August by a fellow employee.
Mr. A was immediately transferred to a nearby hospital and diagnosed with a severe cerebral hemorrhage, but surgery was not possible at that hospital at the time. He was then transferred to 'Cho Ray Hospital,' the most well-known hospital for brain surgery in Ho Chi Minh City, but due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, the local medical conditions were difficult, and there was no hospital available for immediate surgery.
In response, Hanse Industrial directly contacted the Korean consulate and the Korean community association to request assistance for emergency surgery, and surgery was performed about 14 hours after he was found, around 9 p.m. that day.
The surgery was successfully completed, but the local hospital recommended transporting Mr. A to Korea for recovery and rehabilitation. However, Mr. A was not in a condition to take a regular flight.
Upon hearing this, Hanse Industrial held an emergency executive meeting and decided to transport Mr. A using an air ambulance. The company also decided to cover the air ambulance fee, which amounted to approximately 120 million KRW.
It is reported that Hanse Industrial took full responsibility for all processes, from arranging the air ambulance to handling the patient's departure procedures. Mr. A was transported to Korea just three days after the company's decision.

Mr. A safely arrived in Korea on September 11 and is currently recovering. He said, "I understand that the company worked hard to ensure I could have surgery quickly in Vietnam at that time. I am truly grateful that they went all out to arrange my transfer to Korea so I could rest peacefully here." He added, "Thanks to the headquarters' swift action, I overcame a dangerous situation and am now improving while being with my family."
