[This Week's IPO] December Fourth Week Demand Forecast and Subscription Schedule
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] In the fourth week of this month (December), Laemon Laein will conduct a public subscription for general investors.
◆Laemon Laein= The content production company Laemon Laein finalized its public offering price at 15,000 KRW, exceeding the upper limit of the desired price range of 11,500 to 13,000 KRW. The final competition rate recorded in the demand forecast for institutional investors conducted on the 15th and 16th was 1,545.68:1.
Laemon Laein, led by CEO Kim Dongrae, a first-generation Korean drama production entrepreneur, produces various content centered on dramas. The company has secured numerous excellent writers, directors, and PDs while establishing a system for discovering and nurturing new writers, gaining independent capabilities in content planning and production.
The total amount raised through Laemon Laein's public offering, conducted entirely by issuing new shares, is 18 billion KRW. The funds raised will mainly be used for IP acquisition, content production including dramas, writer contracts, and investment in content planning, development, and production.
The subscription for general investors will be held on the 20th and 21st, targeting 300,000 shares, which is 25.0% of the total public offering volume. The company is scheduled to be listed on the 30th of this month, with IBK Investment & Securities as the lead underwriter.
