Donation of 10 Million KRW to Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Jeonnam Ascon Industrial Cooperative (Chairman Lim Kyungjun) donated 10 million won in Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign neighbor aid funds to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea.
According to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea on the 17th, the donation ceremony was attended by Lim Kyungjun, Chairman of the Gwangju Jeonnam Ascon Industrial Cooperative, Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, and Lee Changho, Head of the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Federation of SMEs, making the event more meaningful.
The donated funds will be used to support neighbors in need within Jeollanam-do as well as social welfare institutions and facilities.
Chairman Lim Kyungjun said, “I am glad to contribute to delivering warm kindness during the cold year-end season,” and added, “We will actively participate in sharing within the local community and become a cooperative that fulfills social responsibility.”
Meanwhile, the Gwangju Jeonnam Ascon Industrial Cooperative (Chairman Lim Kyungjun) produces and sells Ascon (asphalt concrete), a major material for construction work, and is doing its best to foster the healthy development of Ascon manufacturers in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.
