Professor Kim Seung of Gwangju University Receives Ministerial Award from Ministry of SMEs and Startups
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyuk-jong) announced on the 16th that Professor Kim Seung of the Department of Food Life Biotechnology received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award in the '2021 Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Merit Category.'
Professor Kim Seung was recognized for his contributions to improving technological capabilities by conducting various research projects in connection with local industries and transferring technology demanded by companies to client enterprises.
He was also evaluated to have provided practical assistance in increasing corporate sales through product commercialization and utilization of academic papers.
Meanwhile, since July 2019, Professor Kim Seung has been serving as the head of the Gwangju University SME Industry-Academia Cooperation Center and the Startup Incubation Center, leading the activation and expansion of industry-academia-research cooperation projects.
