Professor Im Dae-geun of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Elected President of the Global Cultural Contents Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Hankuk University of Foreign Studies announced on the 16th that Professor Im Dae-geun of the Convergence Talent Department was recently elected as the 7th president at the regular general meeting of the Global Cultural Contents Association. His term is two years starting from January 2022.
Professor Im earned a Ph.D. in Literature focusing on Chinese cinema from the graduate school of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He has served as the director of the Taiwan Research Center at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, CEO of the Asia Cultural Contents Research Institute, vice president of the Korean Cultural Contents Criticism Association, and chair of the research support committee of the Korean Film Studies Association.

The Global Cultural Contents Association, founded in 2007, is a nationwide academic organization leading research in the domestic cultural contents field and publishes the journal "Global Cultural Contents."
