Hanwha Techwin Provides Kimchi Worth 30 Million KRW to Vulnerable Groups in Seongnam City

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Hanwha Techwin announced on the 15th that it donated 9,100 kg of kimchi worth approximately 30 million KRW to the Seongnam Volunteer Center to support vulnerable groups during the winter season.
The donated kimchi will be distributed to 910 vulnerable households in the district through the Seongnam Volunteer Center. Ahn Soon-hong, CEO of Hanwha Techwin, said, "We hope that the kimchi prepared with the social contribution funds of our employees will be of some help to neighbors in need," and added, "In 2022, we will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility through various social contribution activities."

Previously, Hanwha Techwin purchased 6,670 kg of kimchi worth about 20 million KRW last year and delivered it to vulnerable groups in the district who needed help during the winter through 37 volunteer organizations and social welfare facilities.
