Incheon Office of Education-Personnel Department Agreement... Outsourcing Local Government High School Graduate Career Examination
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 14th that it will expand the scope of the local government official appointment exam for which the question setting is entrusted to the Ministry of Personnel Management.
On the same day, the Office of Education signed a 'Business Agreement for Entrusting the Question Setting of the Local Government Official Open Competitive Written Examination' with the Ministry of Personnel Management.
Accordingly, starting next year, some subjects of the written exam for local government official career competitive appointments targeting graduates of specialized high schools and Meister high schools in Incheon will also be set by the Ministry of Personnel Management.
From 2019 until this year, only the written exams for new local government official appointments of each city and provincial office of education were entrusted to the Ministry of Personnel Management.

An official from the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education stated, "With the expansion of the entrusted question setting scope, we expect to reduce the budget and lessen the administrative workload," adding, "We will actively cooperate with the Ministry of Personnel Management's requests for support such as personnel."
