[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 20s was arrested by the police after assaulting a bus driver when he was refused boarding at a location that was not a designated bus stop.
On the 14th, the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced that they had booked a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (assault on a driver) and obstruction of business.
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of assaulting a bus driver and pulling out the ignition key to throw it onto the road, thereby obstructing the operation of the bus, around 3 p.m. on the 5th in Gwanak-gu.
