According to Samsung SDI, on that day, CEO Choi held his first communication meeting with executives and employees at the Giheung plant and emphasized the need to continuously innovate based on a super-gap technological competitiveness.
CEO Choi said, "No matter what difficult management environment we face, opportunities for growth are open, and only prepared companies can seize those opportunities and turn them into growth," and urged employees, "Let us start Samsung SDI's journey toward true number one together."
He continued, "A true number one company is one that achieves qualitative growth with profitability superiority based on super-gap technological competitiveness and the highest quality," adding, "We must develop next-generation batteries and materials based on a long-term technology development roadmap and achieve technological super-gap through innovative processes that ensure safety. Quality competitiveness is the foundation of manufacturing and a core element responsible for the company's future."
CEO Choi added, "To achieve the long-term goal of becoming a true number one, it is necessary to secure excellent talent and establish a talent development system, and organizational culture innovation where communication and collaboration are continuously carried out is also important," emphasizing that talent acquisition and organizational culture improvement must accompany this.
