LH Operates Earth and Stone Sharing Platform to "Enhance Communication at Construction Sites"
Sharing Earth and Rock Information Between Construction Sites and Recording/Collecting Earth and Rock Transport Volumes, Loading/Unloading Status
Improving Work Efficiency and Transparency, Strengthening Cooperation with the Private Sector, and Reducing Carbon Emissions for ESG Management
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced that it has established a soil and rock sharing system to enhance communication between construction sites, reduce inefficiencies in work, and manage sites transparently, and will operate the "Soil and Rock Sharing Platform" starting from the 13th.
The Soil and Rock Sharing Platform is an online communication channel that registers soil and rock information from LH project districts and shares it between sites. Notably, this platform is also available to private companies such as construction firms, allowing them to search for soil and rock information including the amount of soil brought in and taken out at LH sites, as well as the periods of import and export, and if desired information is found, they can immediately request consultation with the LH site manager.
Additionally, by using the "User Desired Soil and Rock Condition Registration" feature, users can input desired information and conditions to search for matching sites and receive related information via text message, providing a customized service.
LH has also introduced a real-time transport vehicle management system that automatically records and aggregates the entire soil and rock transportation process using the location information of smartphones or devices. Through this system, loading and unloading status and transport vehicle routes can be checked in real time, and operation records can be automatically aggregated.
Through the establishment of the "Soil and Rock Sharing Platform" and the "Transport Vehicle Management System," LH expects that convenience and transparency in actual field operations will be greatly improved and inefficiencies that previously occurred will be reduced.
