Gwangju Seobu Fire Station Holds Safety Meeting for Traditional Markets
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Seobu Fire Station (Chief Yang Young-gyu) announced on the 9th that it held a meeting at Yangdong Market to prevent winter traditional market fires and strengthen autonomous safety management.
The meeting was held at the Yangdong Market Merchants' Association office with the participation of the fire department, Seo-gu Office, Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, Korea Gas Safety Corporation, and the Yangdong Market Merchants' Association. After the meeting, a joint inspection was conducted with related organizations covering fire, electrical, and gas sectors, and a store inspection day was operated targeting market merchants and citizens to prevent winter fires.
A fire station official said, “We will do our best to ensure safety based on close cooperation with related organizations so that citizens can use the market safely and merchants can operate their businesses comfortably.”
